The Mis-Direction of the American Govt
News Headline - Fentanyl overdoses become No. 1 cause of death among US adults, ages 18-45: 'A national emergency' — More adults between 18 and 45 died of fentanyl overdoses in 2020 than COVID-19, motor vehicle accidents, cancer and suicide. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that can be deadly even in very small amounts, and other drugs, including heroin, meth and marijuana, can be laced with the dangerous drug.
The bad news is 2021 is looking to be even more horrendous for this issue. Yet we have our health (so called experts) telling us to check COVID Cards for those coming over for Christmas. The first thing to understand is that our Govt will always try to find a shiny new bobble to mis-direct the American attention and the news media is right there with them in helping in the mis-direction. How many COVID experts on the news predicting doom and gloom? Now how many have you seen saying we have a National Emergency based on Fentanyl?
Between 2020 and 2021, nearly 79,000 people between 18 and 45 years old — 37,208 in 2020 and 41,587 in 2021 — died of fentanyl overdoses, the data analysis from opioid awareness organization Families Against Fentanyl shows. This does not count the other drugs involved in overdoses.
Stop and think about this and where would you guess who and what entry point the primary sources and import illegally comes from? Mexico and China are the primary sources for the flow of fentanyl into the United States, according to the DEA. Now I truly think most folks would make that guess correctly. The real issue is think Southern Border and the ease of crossing by the cartels. But our leaders are more concerned with you making sure your family has a COVID Card for Christmas dinner. Now I don’t mean to downplay the COVID, but look at the age range we are talking about. Supposedly prime ages for working and contributing to American Society. Yet we are losing them while the Govt does a mis-direction.
What gets buried in Govt documents and data is simply: between Jan. 1, 2020, and Dec. 15, 2021, there were more than 53,000 COVID-19 deaths among those between the ages of 18 and 49, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Now to be fair, the following comes from the CDC: About 385,000 were reported in 2020, according to CDC data, and more than 386,000 have been reported in 2021 for COVID deaths.
For the same period people between 18 and 49 the Fentanyl deaths were approximately 79,000. So approximately 26,000 more from Fentanyl and not counting other drugs. Yet we want severe restrictions put on people for COVID and no National program for Fentanyl.
To be fair, President Biden issued an executive order authorizing sanctions against any foreigner engaged in illicit drug trafficking or production. My question is, are the Drug Cartels listed in the Business Section for Mexico or China so we can sanction them? So my initial belief is that an executive order on this goes right with toilet paper needs. Compare the efforts to stem Fentanyl to COVID and tell me they are being treated the same. Sounds nice, but a 10 second news clip if at all does little to combat the issue when you have open borders. So once again the Govt does a mis-direction on the American people and the news follows right along. Example, NYC to require vaccines and masks or shut everything down. Yet — New York City drug-overdose deaths have surged by 36 percent, according to new federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data. A heartbreaking 2,243 people in the five boroughs died from drug overdoses for the 12-month period ending March 31, compared to 1,653 who died in the same period the year before, according to agency stats. The COVID lock downs are estimated to have increased US total deaths from overdoses by 33 percent and Fentanyl is driving the increase. Seriously, where are our priorities and why do we allow these leaders to be so incompetent?
The seizures of Fentanyl drugs at the border have reached record highs in 2021, according to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as the Biden administration faces a continuing crisis at the southern border. Have you heard about this crisis on the news or in talking points by the administration? I sure have not. How about our elected leaders in Congress and the Senate? Pretty quiet on this topic but masks are a huge topic and providing funds to political interest groups.
Data shows our much maligned and disrespected border patrol authorities have seized more than 11,000 pounds of fentanyl in 2021, with less than one month to go, dwarfing the 4,776 pounds seized in 2020. Why the dramatic increase? How about more open borders and apprehension. CBP seizures of other drugs, including marijuana, cocaine and heroin have generally decreased since 2018. Why you ask? More money in Fentanyl and easier to move and manufacture. Additionally, what is the cost to our society in crime and medical costs? The total cost would be staggering if it was calculated and advertised. Don’t see the Govt laying that out for public knowledge. Now experts recommend people who use any kind of drug carry Narcan, a lifesaving medicine also known as naloxone, which has the ability to reverse symptoms of an overdose and potentially save lives. So now, have your COVID Card, masks, and Narcan on you wherever you go. This is really sad for our society and has a huge negative impact on our lives.
We worry about micro aggressions, words that make those feel unsafe and threatened, safe spaces for people to go and get their emotions under control and are we saying things that have been culturally appropriated from someone. Or maybe 10 years ago you said something stupid, so lets make sure we destroy you. We want to disband the Border Patrol and they are racist and cruel to illegals. Least we forget, there is a Federal Law that says you cannot enter the US illegally. Try that in another country and see the results. Thank goodness for those in the Border Patrol. Anyone want to volunteer for that job? How about we stop all of the false crap and start focusing on what really matters and that is fighting the unpublished war against America through open borders, flooding of illegals and all of the drugs to kill our people. Remember the country who gave us COVID also is one of two major producers of Fentanyl. No, don’t blame Asians for this, especially since my wife is Asian. Not their fault. The Govt leadership is at fault, not the ordinary person.
Do we have any ides of who is coming across the border? Sure lots of people looking for better lives, but how many criminals or potential terrorists? If you don’t think there are a lot of both, then you are seriously believing everything the Govt says. Plus please keep in mind, we are saying go ahead and break the Federal Immigration Law, but damn you, you should be in jail for no vaccine or mask. Really?
